Parmesan Poppy Seed Lollipops

Food on a stick, does it get any cuter? Try whipping up some of these Parmesan Poppy Seed Lollipops for your next dinner party – get it ready in under 30 minutes.

Makes 8

What you need

80g grated parmesan
1 teaspoon poppy seeds
1 teaspoon sesame seeds
8 skewers

What to do

Preheat the oven to 200°C. Line two large baking trays with greaseproof paper and spray the paper with oil.

Mix the parmesan and seeds in a small bowl. Place a 9cm ring on the baking tray and fill with two teaspoons of cheese mixture, spreading out to the edges. Gently lift off the ring and place a skewer so the tip sits in the middle of the circle. Repeat until you have made 8 skewers. You should have a small amount of cheese left, use this to cover part of the skewer resting on the cheese lollipop.

Bake for 5 minutes, until golden and bubbly. Remove trays from the oven and let cool down for 1 – 2 minutes.

Serve in a jar and with some sparkling wine for a fun party starter!
