Do you know someone who is about to give birth? If so these cookies are a perfect gift for a new Mum. Make some as a present if you are popping in to meet a new baby, as I am.

Lactation cookies have been carefully researched so every ingredient is going to make you feel more energised and increase your milk supply. The 3 main ingredients which will increase supply are Oats, Flaxseed (linseed) and Brewer’s yeast, more information the benefits on these ingredients can be found at Dr Momma. Make sure you use Brewer’s yeast and not baking yeast, as it’s the essential ingredient to increase the milk supply and cannot be substituted. Brewer’s yeast can be found in health food stores or can be found cheaply on eBay.com.au.
